Amidst the dappled shade of Crepe Myrtles, the garden took shape as a reflection of its spirited keeper.
One drawn to design, to the art of collecting, to the quiet romance of gardens and their shifting moods.

From our first conversations, it was clear this would be a shared pursuit. Over tea we spoke of gardening as both patience and spontaneity, a dialogue between time, weather, and will.

We agreed that a garden may never be considered finished. Its beauty rests in motion, in the slow unfurling, the quiet decline, the renewal that follows.
We spoke too of missteps, inevitable in the act of gardening, each one a mark of participation rather than error.

The modest scale, enclosed by mature trees and layered planting, became both boundary and muse. Light was treated as material, shadow as guide. Aloes, agaves, and shade-loving succulents bring sculptural rhythm to the softer weave of ferns, Hydrangeas, and clipped Buxus.

Together they speak in balance, shaped by a generous, curious, and attentive hand.
